Ascent Trip Report

Latest IGN mapping gives summit spot height(s) of 258m. This area is mostly private forest (Foret de Paimpont) despite being heavily promoted by the local tourist board as a centre of recreation and Arthurian & celtic legends. It has very few public rights of way (none to the summit) but many easy tracks. We parked by the Fontaine de Baranton and followed wide forestry roads onto the heavily wooded plateau - then used map & GPS to locate & visit the exact summit spot heights (which otherwise could have been anywhere!)
