Ascent Trip Report

Hanna and I were, most probably, the only people trying to climb Storsylen this sunny day a couple of weeks before the summer season began. After huge efforts, we succeeded to cross the river close to the Sylarna mountain hut (the steel bridge we expected was gone...). Well up on the summit ridge, the snow was anything but reliable, why we turned back after a lunch at Förtoppen. The remaining snow melt unbelievably quickly and we could hardly see our tracks during the decent. We had a lot of fun, though.
