Ascent Trip Report

This was my final "White Mountain 4000-Footer", and I was feeling pretty proud of myself -- until I met a guy on the way down who had just a few more before he finished doing them all for the fifth time! I also met some hunters who were hunting for a bear that had been trapped at a dump and released nearby -- with a bow, and two dogs with radio locators on their collars. Since then I am a little more judicious about hiking during hunting season, especially in places where there aren't a lot of hikers.
