Ascent Trip Report “X”, “Slim Reaper” and I started out from Livermore Parking area and ascended the ‘south slide trail’. We had tried last weekend from Sabbaday but couldn't get the boys over the crossings due to the rains the day before. We headed east on the Kate Sleeper trail and made our camp on the top of the saddle between the West Sleeper South Tripyramid, (at least 250’ off trail). We then headed back to the slide and attained all three summits. We had a fun time at camp with a small fire and ate like kings. Bugs weren’t bad but we found lots of bear scat in the AM. They must use that saddle a lot to get between the two basins. Took our time heading back so the boys could ‘hand fish’ in the cascades of Slide Brook. The total trip was just over 12 miles.
