Ascent Trip ReportWe had spotted this snow couloir on our 1997 trip and just had to return to climb it. We were camped in Titcomb Basin and made an attempt. We made it all the way up the couloir and on to the eastern ridge which is a short scramble to the summit. The rocks were covered in rime ice which made the final 200 feet very treacherous. While not obtaining the summit, we accomplished our goal of climbing the couloir. There was one solo guy camped in Titcomb Basin, but we had the whole mountain to ourselves all day.
