Ascent Trip Report

Lee got me up early and we went up to climb Gladstone. The trail up to the saddle traversed a snowfield turned to water ice. We found, on the ridge to Gladstone, that staying left, east, of the ridge was generally easier. Gladstone Peak, 13913 ft.,
is a budding Capitol. We came back and I went up Wilson Pk., 14017 ft. The ridge has some nasty ledge work to get up. Lee was pooped out by Gladstone and proposed a rest day while I get another fourteener.
