Ascent Trip Report

We got an early morning start for Teakettle, 13819 ft. We went up to Coffeepot, down a couloir left of the ridge, across and up a steep narrow loose couloir left of the ridge then through the first cliff band, crossed the ridge and up another steep narrow loose couloir right of the ridge through the second cliff band. We finished with easy climbing to the summit pinnacle. Another party got to the pinnacle before us and we used their rope and their belay. They were mountain rescuers and convinced Lee F. to sign in for the
first time.
