Ascent Trip ReportI got a 7:30 am start going up Mt. Sill. I went all the way up to the East Couloir, which was blocked by a bergschrund five feet across and eight feet higher on the other side. I didn't bother trying a ledge bypass on the right. I then went to Glacier north, chatted with 2 of the 6 who had decided to forego the north couloir, and I went up Mt. Gayley, 13510'. Mt. Gayley is a lot of class 3, as much as I wanted to do. And a sharp summit. I heard from another 2 of the 6 that the Mt. Sill north couloir didn't demand a rope of them and that it was more than an eight hour day.
