Ascent Trip Report

Day 1 - White River CG to Glacier Basin CG
Rough trail, sometimes difficult to folow through river areas. Fairly well marked by caution tape hanging from trees and bushes or pinned under rocks.

Day 2 - Glacier Basin CG - Camp Schurman
Traveled via the Inter Glacier (roped!!). Some sketchy icy areas. a few small cracks to jump, nothing serious.

Day 3 - Camp Schurman to summit back to the car (left 3AM, summit 11AM, back to Camp at 3:30PM, out to car at 10:30PM, in bed 1AM)
Perfect weather!!! Sunny, clear, ~30 degrees, <15mph winds on the summit. Warmer and less windy below. Rangers were shirtless and shoeless at Schurman. Lots of crevasses to navigate. Main route melted out the day before. 2-3 seriously sketchy crevasse jumps/bridges that I would not try 2-3 days later. Walk out was hell on the knees.
