Ascent Trip ReportStarted from Rt. 100 a few tenths south of Plunkton Rd. parked at pull out on west side of road. Started whack at culvert a few yards north of pull out. Moderately steep and slippery at times due to Sundays heavy rain, through mixed forest that had been heavily logged 10+- years ago. Many old skidder roads in varying states mostly going across the fall line as they generally do, but luckily several times able to make use of at times some going straight up for several fortunate minutes. Also unlucky enough to run in to some thick scrubby second growth with slash under it making walking very difficult. On ridge followed moose trails at times to h.p. very remote feeling at summit in wilds of north central Vermont. Followed ridge back to west then angled back across fall line to Rt.100
