Ascent Trip Report

My first taste of climbing at age 11. As I recall, wild blueberries, spring water and views from the fire tower were the highlights of the ascent. I recall the descent to Stratton Pond was steeper and more strenuous. Ruck sack backpack with no frame was a big challenge for an 11 year old!
