Ascent Trip ReportSpent 6 days on Easton Glacier practicing glacier travel and crevasse rescue. Actually fell into a small crevasse when snowbridge collapsed; caught myself on the crevasse lip and pulled myself up and over using ice axe. Sherman Crater generating a lot of steam. Roman Wall was very icy. Reached summit and a squirrel was sitting up there; he scampered over the northeast edge and disappeared. Very low cloud cover but sunny and clear on summit. Below, Shuksan and surrounding peaks rose above low clouds. On descent loose muddy wall between Roman Wall and Sherman Crater crumbled with each step.
