Ascent Trip Report

6:00 - Depart Waterville Valley for Castle Ridge/Isreal Ridge trailhead parking lot on Rt 2.
7:00 - Arrive at Castle Ridge/Isreal Ridge trailhead parking lot on Rt 2, take a 15 min nap.
7:25 - Depart parking lot, heading west on pipeline, and then immediate left on to trail, then under the power lines. Right at junction with Israel Ridge trail.
9:00 - Northwest Castle. Before undercast below me.
9:15 - Southeast Castle. Love this ridge. Very exposed. Continued straight up to Jefferson.
10:00 - Jefferson summit - nice warm clear day. Headed NE to Adams.
10:40 - Adams 5 summit.
11:15 - Adams summit. Took ~15 mins to eat. 2 other hikers summited @ the same time from different directions.
11:45 - Sam Adams summit.
12:10 - Abigail Adams summit.
12:35 - Knight's Castle
12:50 - Trail junction toward RMC hut. Turned west to head toward hut.
1:15 - Arrived at RMC hut (near The Quay). Took 5 mins at the hut to drink/eat a little, then headed back out.
1:20 - Depart Hut, headed out to The Quay. Beautiful view.
1:25 - The Quay summit.
2:15 - Emerald Bluff summit. Back to Israel Ridge trail, descend all the way back down to car.
3:50 - Arrived at parking lot.
