Ascent Trip Report

with Steph on her 14ers birthday trip. 6AM start, beautiful morning to hike, got to the first pass by 7, on the summit by 10AM. A long hike but a beautiful summit, surprisingly busy though. A nice liesurely walk down with several snacks. We were both tired by the time we got back to the truck. Nice dinner at the Antlers near Creede afterword. (too bad I forgot my fly fishing rod at the campsite and had to drive back up to get it!

Great climb, very scenic on the Colorado trail.
