Ascent Trip Report

Drove up from the North side on Old Mount Lemmon Rd to E. Ski Run Rd. Attempted a road hike from the parking lot on E. Ski Run to the peak but access to the actual peak is block by an observatory. In attempts to pass within an acceptable locus of the peak, the ascent continued around the cordoned area to the North. After a short distance of minor bushwhacking, we happened upon a fortuitous breach in the perimeter fortification just below the summit. The final ascent provided a short, concealed scramble to the top.
