descent
Summit 1640

Loj 1900

2:50 up and 2:20 down for a total of 5:10. I was really pushing the pace (probably can't go a whole lot faster than that in my current physical condition) to try to avoid rain and darkness, since I got a late start. It having rained the day before and the morning of, the trails were quite muddy and wet. Became less of a nuisance when I realized that trying to keep my feet dry was a lost cause. Towards the summit a portion of the path was under a few inches of water. Felt good to walk through. Summit was breezy, probably about 60F. Saw a cute girl who works for ADK on my way up (she was going down and making sure climbers were prepared for hiking in the dark). Yeah, she was cute. Shoulda chatted with her a bit more.
