Ascent Trip ReportEasy effortless hike up service road to open summit, great views in all directions.
East of Oshawa, hwy 401 exit 436, travel north on #35/#115 ....... exit #35 north and travel about 9km to Waite road on the right, if you travel another .4km you'll arrive at Ballyduff road. Turn right on Waite road and travel 350 meters to a hydro pole and a gated service road on the left. Climb over the gate and hike up the little used road about 1km to the summit...... one tall Communication tower and numerous small towers. The open top with tall grass is a large area, after walking around I concluded the actual summit is behind the right side small towers, as you approach the tall tower..... a small pile of rocks mark the spot. Views in all directions.
