|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
|Peak:||Colorado Mines Peak|
| Elevation:||12493 ft / 3807 m|
Ascent Trip ReportAfter bagging Mount Bierstadt in the morning, I still had some energy left. Fortunately, while it was raining north and south of this peak, it was in an area of blue sky- and it stayed that way until I was well into my descent. The trail, being a dirt road, was at a decent slope. The summit, despite major communication installations, had a clear highpoint, and great views in all directions (just not from the highpoint- one had to walk to the far sides of the structures).
