Ascent Trip ReportWhile descending mountain scared a bear off, it started galloping down the mountain on the trail, though did not see it, 30 seconds later heard people yelling downslope, a minute or two later passed three hikers headed uphill who said they were nearly run over by bear. After passing them walked slowly and quietly down hill hoping for a sighting, but nothing.
