Ascent Trip ReportHiked up trail to Little East Pond, the easy part. The tough part, whacking through the very thick spruce and blow downs, with unseen holes to fall into, with temps just above freezing, snow on the thick branches melting - dripping down onto me. By the time I reached the cannister I was completely soaked through from head to toe and encased in spruce and balsam needles, the toughest whack so far, one I will not revisit.
