Ascent Trip Report

The roads in from the south were pretty good until the intersection at about 7560' southwest of the peak. The road heading southeast from there required high clearance, and the final road 4WD. The final road got to a point where we couldn't proceed which is where we parked. Walking the road, however, was easy.

On the ascent we decided to go straight up the (east side of the) mountain- this was more difficult than in looked with lots of steep loose terrain. On the decent, we came straight down to the road from the peak which was a better route, even though it meant 100' of regain on the road.
