Ascent Trip Report

I climbed this peak during intermittent showers consisting of rain, freezing rain, and snow pellets. This turned out to be a more difficult ascent than I anticipated made harder by having to wait for a break in the weather to begin the hike. The wind at the top was very strong! Four of us set out to climb this high point of two Utah counties, including my wife, Eve Martin, my daughter, Eliana Martin, and my son, Peter Martin. Only Peter and I reached the rounded nearly flat summit. The highlight of the trip was seeing four moose feeding in a shallow lake along the way.
