Ascent Trip ReportEasy road hike, less than 2 hours Round Trip.
The TH is a service road on the west side of route #175, 3.5 km north of the restaurant at L'etape in the Parc de Laurentide. Park on the side of the service road, don't block the road, and walk up the good (driveable) gravel road to the fenced-in two Telecommunication Towers. The actual summit is about 70 meters south of the Towers ..... two old foundations, each with survey marker engraved "TERRES ET FORET QUEBEC, POINT GEODESIQUE".
Partial wooded summit with views thru the stunted trees.
For a more detailed account of my first unsuccessful attempt to this mountain see TR dated 2009-06-28.
