Ascent Trip ReportEasy short hike on a man-made trail.
The Pic de la Hutte is in a beautiful area of the Parc des Monts-Valin ......lakes, rock faces and a network of trails leading to the near-by summits. The short easy hike is on a man-made one meter wide sidewalk with a stone chip surface and resting benches, once on the open summit area a wood walk leads to different observation platforms ........ In my opinion it is way-over-done and a perfect example of Government waste.
The 360 degree view from the top must be outstanding .... not on this day however ....drizzle, overcast, partial views only.
