Ascent Trip ReportCelebration.....handshaking, hugging, kissing, jumping, howlering ....... the "TOUR DU CANADA" bicycle trip is over.
Today we biked from our Piggy Park Campground to the summit of Signal Hill in St Johns, NF., and the end of a "Cross-Canada Bicycle Trip", starting in Vancouver, BC. on June the 28th....a total of 69 days and 7297 km. The total number of cycling days was 56 for an average of 130.3 km per day. We had 13 century days (100 miles). 46 riders started and 42 finished. It was a camping trip with 2 support vehicles, a super summer of cycling.
