Ascent Trip ReportElliott and I went in by the Westmin mine trailhead up to Anika Lake where we spent the night. We traversed Philip's Ridge and spent the next night at the far end of the ridge. We were met the next morning by Tom, Yannick and George. We all proceeded to the far end of Schjeldrup Lake. The next day we went for the summit. Elliott and I made it to within 600 feet of the summit, Yannick, George and Tom summited. The weather was perfect, warm and dry. This was Elliott's first attempt at a serious mountain and we were getting into serious exposure. Next attempt with him will most likely be successful.
