Ascent Trip ReportMike Yates took my up Haystack Mountain in August. It is accessed just outside of Keremeos. A hike up from the river valley up to the alpine. We camped at Haystack Lake where we caught Cutthroat trout and ate them for dinner. The next day we climbed up the ridge in glorious sunshine. After getting to the summit we hiked west along the ridge to Cathedral Lakes where we spent the night near the resort.
