Ascent Trip ReportAscended Signal after successful ascent of Butterfield. Slightly longer hike, took slightly longer to finish than the first. Began ascent a few hundred yards past the bridge over the stream between Butterfield and Signal. Followed a bearing of magnetic 20 to the west side of the summit, then followed the height of land to the summit. South slope is very steep in places between 2500 and 2900 elevation. Signed AMC trail register and descended quickly ahead of threatened rain that didn't hit until we got all the way back to our car. Please see my report for Butterfield for the complete hike. Time: about 3 hours, 3 miles up and back.
