Ascent Trip Report

Nice trailhead turnout at 3441 feet on Cook Peak Road overlooking Lake Isabella, but remaining narrow dirt road to the summit precludes turning around easily so I hiked over 10+ miles round trip. The last 100' of gain are on an overgrown dirt path to the remaining lookout foundation.
