Ascent Trip ReportMonica and I went up Mt Bierstadt together on this one. It was her first fourteener, at age 6. It was also my fourteener, 31 years earlier, at age 9. I got a good picture of her running down the snowfield near the summit, and crossing a stream on the way up. It will always be one of my favorite ascents because Monica went with me.
