Ascent Trip ReportTourist Trip. Family on vacation when i was in HS and beofre i got into backpacking and mounaineering - but we did walk around on the summit. I will eventualy return to this peak and replace this entry with a climbing entry reflecting my actual hobby goals through backpacking and mountain hiking etc... But there are too many other peaks to go explore before i will get back that way. This is one of the few 14ers you can actually drive to the summit allowing anybody to see what a unique place the top of a 14er is like. So i guess it has a purpose. But the view is always more impressive and in proper perspective when you "earn the view"
