Ascent Trip ReportStarted around 11am with my mom(who was visiting), after having some trouble finding forest road 245 from 180, once on 245, no troubles. Great hike through the pumpkin fire, showing great aspen regen and some pipo regen, but not as much as wanted. Great views at every point of the trail, even better views from the summit! We chatted with the fire lookout volunteer for about 40minutes, ate lunch and headed down. A fire was obstructing the view of the canyon to the north, but you could still make out the north rim. Breezy, 47degrees at the lookout.
