Ascent Trip Report

First hike of the year and the first 4000er of the 48 Mark and I plan to hike together in NH. Woke up at 2:45 AM and drove up to Waterville valley ski resort where the trailhead is. No traffic made great time. It took about 2 hours to get to the Campton exit. Started hiking around 5:15 AM. It was light at 4:30 AM. Mount Tecumseh Trail. Saw bird watcher at peak. Not a great view. Short relatively easy hike. Was hard at points but mostly because I was out of shape. Not a good view at summit because of the trees. One nice view on the edge of a ski slope for Waterville Valley.
