Ascent Trip Report

Snatched a quick walk on the way home from Geneva on the evening of the Pentecost holiday in Switzerland. Following the yellow diamond marked paths through the forest to the CAS Cabine de Mont D'Or I didn't see a single person except a dog walker at the start. From there a short hop along the edge of the cliffs to the summit. Great view in both directions along the Jura chain from Cret de la Neige in the South to Le Chasseron in the North. Dent de Vaulion across the valley looks impressivly steep from this summit. Gathering storm clouds had me hurrying back down to finish the drive home.
