Ascent Trip ReportNice hike with great views and weather. Met a former major league baseball player on the trail and some other fun people. Went to Carlsbad Caverns in the evening and watched the bats leave the cave. Toured the caverns the next day and then drove on to Wheeler Peak. HP #38
