Ascent Trip ReportIt was a rainy cold day in late may. We had a bit of trouble finding the trail head, but by chance we came upon it! We parked the car and started the climb. The rain didnt help the fact that there were dozens of rivers and brooks to cross,yet it added to the challange and the fun. The trees and plants were mostly green broadleaf ones at the lower elevations. Above 3,900 feet it turned mostly to evergreens. The summit was in a cloud, so not only was there no view but seeing a few feet around us was next to impossible. All in all it was a great trip, I almost never let the elements ruin or get in the way of a great trip!
