Ascent Trip ReportGreat day, cool and cloudy with a high cealing. No black flys!!!
slight water on trail nothing to really note. Chilly up top.
Way down sun came out it warmed up fast. Lots of hikers. Boxing day and all. We went to Porter first then went to Cascade because of the crowd. This was part of the Cascade / Porter trip and had some real nice views. The trail was packed being a pretty easy climb. Be sure to get to the trail head early as there is not a lot of parking. Up and down both Cascade and Porter took about 5 to 6 hours.
