Ascent Trip Report

Take Exit 80 off I-5 towards Glendale on Glendale Valley Road.
Head 2.9 miles into Glendale and turn right onto Brown Street, which becomes Reuben Road.
Continue west on Reuben Road 2.4 miles, then turn right onto McCulloch Creek Road (paved).

0.0 TURN RIGHT onto McCulloch Creek Road
2.1 CONTINUE STRAIGHT as pavement ends (enter State Forest Lands)
2.4 TURN LEFT onto marked road 3267
3.0 CONTINUE STRAIGHT
3.9 Pass a campsite pullout on the right
4.5 BEAR RIGHT at a junction
5.2 TURN LEFT at a logging road junction.

There are two roads on the left here.
TURN HARD LEFT up a narrow road immediately leading steeply upwards.
The brush closes in on the road in spots beyond here.

5.6 PARK at a wide opening.

I tried driving further, but brush closed too tightly in on the road and I backed out.
This was a nice campsite on a ridge.

I started my hike by continuing down this road, then following an apparent game/climbers trail to the summit.
