Ascent Trip Report

From the Black Hills Backcountry Byway you can take the signed and rough 4x4 Guthrie Peak Road to the summit. Don't think that this is viable with a 2WD or low clearance.

Just before the summit, a good tower service road comes in but it is unclear what the origins of this unmapped road are or whether it is gated at the base.
