Started in Sierra Madre at Mira Monte Avenue and Mt. Wilson Trail Drive. Walked up trail for 150 yards then took trail to left to Orchard Camp. Trail climbs steeply through chaparrel, oak and spruce up the west slope of Little Santa Anita Canyon. See John Robinson Hike #40 for full write up. Left trailhead at 8:00 AM and arrived at Mt. Wilson at 11:30 AM. Had lunch at top and met Tricia and Norma, who I had passed coming up the trail. Hike with them back down to the trail head.
