Ascent Trip ReportAscended from Peekamoose PA. Was an overcast day but interesting and fun hike. Recoutier Rock was neat. Alot of ice and snow still at both peekamoose and table peaks and especially in the col between them. Slipped on ice and and slid down about 50 feet in col on descent from peekamoose. Was pretty funny until i realized i had to hike back up the same ice i slid down on to get my poles. Put yaktraks on thereafter, no problems. Snow was very firm, no postholing and or need for snowshoes. Very isolated hike, saw one other couple on decent back down Peekamoose. A few nice ledges and got some good views on peekamoose but none on table. There is a little set of cairns at the summit of table. Blood pumping, went home, put legs in bubblebath.
