Ascent Trip Report

Part of day two of 1992 backpacking trip. Mountain summits were incdiental to trip on this day as we got off track. Day started at East Fork of Pigeon River at EL 4000.

Viewed Second Falls before we got back on track and on to maintained trails. Some additional ascent was obtained around the falls when we took some ineffecient course corrections.

Obtained Black Balsam Knob on the journey to Birdstand Mountain. Headed north along the ridge to Tennet Mountain.
