Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful sunny day. Ascended from phoenicia trail (DEC Red blazed) to tower. A little steeper than i expected, got the blood pumping, but was fun. The trail (April) was not too muddy despite all the tributaries crossing it on its way down to the Esopus. Passed two leanto's on way up to tower. The peak was very small, just a small grassy area. The views from the tower were excellent and well worth the hike. Descent was cake and felt good.
