Ascent Trip ReportAn 8 day hike, departing from Lemosho Glades. Did not ascend Western Breach Route due to recent climber/hiker deaths from rockfall earlier in the season.
Day 1 BigTree Camp.
Day 2 Shira 1 Camp.
Day 3 Shira 2 Camp.
Day 4 Barranco Camp.
Day 5 Karanga Valley Camp.
Day 6 Barafu Camp. Climb started at 11pm.
Day 7 Reached Stella Point at 6:30 am and then Uhuru Peak at 7:30. Descended via Mweka Trail to Barafu Camp and then on down to Millenium Camp.
Day 8 Descended to Mweka Gate.
