Ascent Trip ReportAfter battling *very* bad snow conditions for about a mile (the trail had been broken till the upper crossing but the mile above the crossing was a horror show) I reached a ton of spruce traps. The last one took me 5 minutes to extricate myself from and I knew it was not worth it so we turned around. So close but it was the right call to make. No more non-4000 footers with deep snow unless we have a team to break trail.
