Ascent Trip Report

Stayed night in Tucson. Headed further South in the morning. Beautiful drive in. Started to hike up, easy trail. Came to a saddle with a grave for a Boy Scout troop that got stuck here in a freak snowstorm. Kinda odd. Continued up, and it seemed to take forever to gain any elevation. Came up to another saddle, and all of these bugs started attacking! So many bugs that the inside of my boots are stained with them (grody). Got to summit, which used to have a mirror station on top. Just a base of it is left, but good seats. Didn't stay long due to the bugs. Easy hike down.
