franconia ridge hike - camp hike thorington gut walk

in july 1965 took oseeo trail which originated off kancamagus highway at clear brook and not off lincoln woods trail. early maps prior to 1969 show esseo tr going straight up clear brook about 1 mile and slabbing northeast to whaleback mt and across that ridge to mt flume.
