Ascent Trip Report

first peak climbed as a 10 yr old with family...

this peak is very accessible to any age climber...
offers a fine base lodge - excellent trails - solid scramble over bare rock above tree line - exposed in the last 1/4 mile to peak - plus there's a beautiful 360° view and'a fire tower.

great introduction to climbing mountains... in a real sense the experience of this climb holds everything one will find when hiking up a mountain.

been up it at least 11 times now - done as camp pasquaney day hikes... family and friends gatherings to usher along young new hikers and interested friends.
