Ascent Trip ReportIt was an absolutely gorgeous March day with not even a wisp of clouds. Just very clear, sunny, and temps in the low-mid 40s. Took the trail from the Garden to John's Brook Lodge and hung a right on Slide Mountain Brook trail to the top of Big Slide. Not too bad of a climb, we took it slow and easy, however, the last part was extremely tough without crampons. Nice rest at the top and we were soon joined by close to 15 other climbers from different groups. Took the trail over the Brothers back down to the Garden. Wasn't very difficult, again crampons would have been helpful, but bare-booted from the first brother back to the car. Great day, incredible views, and I'm now in double digits for the 46.
