Ascent of Old Black on 2009-03-08

|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||USA-North Carolina/Tennessee|
| Elevation:||6370 ft / 1941 m|
Ascent Trip ReportThis is an easy bushwhack compared to the others. I don't know why it seemed so difficult last time. On the western slope there is a cairn right on the AT that marks the manway to the summit. There are a few blowdowns to navigate but they aren't too bad. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to summit.
